Collabria Credit Cards

FYCCU has partnered with Collabria to provide you with a credit card product as a service or benefit to your relationship with them.

Worry-free with no-fee 3.9% balance transfers for 6 months. Take advantage of the opportunity to pay down your balance faster when you transfer balances to your credit card at a special 3.9% interest rate for six months and with no transfer fee!

Payroll Deduction Deposit

Pay Yourself First! As little as $5.00 per pay can be directly deposited in a savings account.

Ficanex/Debit Card

Access your money from any bank machine in the world. Fee of $1.25 for each ATM withdrawal, and 50 cents for each debit card purchase or free if $2,500 on deposit. Note: Since RBC bought out HSBC, they no longer accept our cards to deposit. They will take our cards for withdrawals but charge $4. Find an ATM near you.

Chequing Accounts

No fees with a minimum balance of $2,500. Monthly flat fee package plan available.

Full Pay Deposit

Deposit your full pay into the credit union and we will distribute your pay as per your instructions at no cost. Whichever deposit type you choose, it’s important to pay yourself first and save for that unexpected emergency, your senior days, a vacation, a child’s education, a computer, or even a well deserved shopping spree.

Savings Account

Pay yourself first by setting up an automatic savings program through payroll deduction. FYCCU’s Savings Account is perfect for saving for those special events in life without having to tie up your money in one of our term deposit products. You can make unlimited withdrawals, transfers, or deposits on this account.

Home Equity Lines of Credit

A great way to use the equity in your home to help children and grandchildren, consolidate debt, renovate pay for university fees, or take that trip of a lifetime. Minimum loan $10,000 and over.

Competitive Loans and Mortgages

We have Competitive Interest Rates. Fixed Rate structured mortgage repayments, First & Second Mortgages, Bridge Financing. Conventional and high risk insured.

Also available, Variable Rate lines of credit allowing you to easily access the equity in your home at any time.

Automatic Bill Payments

You can arrange bills to be paid automatically each month from your chequing account by simply sending your service provider a void cheque from your account at the Credit Union. Cost of $1.00 for each transaction, or no cost if $2500 on deposit.

CUETS Financial Mastercard

A variety of fee and no-fee CUETS Financial Mastercards are available to meet your individual needs. Collect points toward travel or merchandise. Payments can be directly from your account at no cost.

RRSP’S & RESP’S

Available on payroll deduction. Available in variable and fixed rate deposits. A great way to safeguard your retirement years, also to save for your children’s education and earn a government grant.

TFSA (Tax Free Savings Account)

The new Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) is a flexible, registered general-purpose savings vehicle that allows Canadians to earn tax-free investment income to more easily meet lifetime savings needs. The TFSA complements existing registered savings plans like the Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSP) and the Registered Education Savings Plans (RESP).

Term Deposits

Fixed rate terms for minimum deposits of $1,000 for 1 year.

Fall & Spring Savers

After November 1st, December 1st, & January 1st, paying 4%. Minimum deposit $100.

Certified Financial Planner

Will provide personal, private and confidential Financial Counseling, at no cost nor obligation.

Travel Insurance

1 million dollars worth of coverage available at a cost of $1.20 per day in all countries except the U.S. and $2.00 per day in the United States. Family rates also available. Some conditions apply.
